Limex trolley washer helps improve hygiene at WPK Vegetable Plants
In late 2019, we installed a trolley washer at WPK Vegetable Plants in Made (NL), a grower of vegetable young plants in heated and unheated environments and leading in terms of nursery hygiene. After WPK has been using various Limex tray washers satisfactorily for many years, we were now also able to supply a cart washer.
Various companies in the logistics chain use plant carts. However, the origin of the trolleys is often unclear, and they’re frequently dirty due to soil and plant remains, so it’s important to wash and disinfect the trolleys before they are put into use. The trolley washer we supplied is suitable for washing and disinfecting CC containers (Danish trolleys), Flora trolleys and other plant carts.
“This investment improves our capacity to keep any potential threats at bay,” says Erik van der Arend, general manager at WPK Vegetable Plants.
